Do you remember the In my Feelings challenge in 2018? Well the internet is a crazy and very random place. This year, celebrities such as Justin Bieber and kendall Jenner decided to hop on to the trend to do the Bottle Cap Challenge. With big names such as theirs trying out this challenge, it didn’t take long for this trend to blow up all over the internet.
The Bottle Cap challenge first started back in June, when Taekwondo fighter and instructor Farabi Davletchin posted a video of himself kicking a bottle cap off a bottle with ease. That’s when the bottle cap challenge was born. Soon after celebrities hopped on this crazy trend by posting videos of them kicking bottle caps off different types of bottles. The main challenge is to unscrew a bottle cap off a bottle with a roundhouse kick without knocking the bottle over.
Some people on the web might use this little hack to make themselves look like a professional, doing this trick with ease. Don’t worry we’ll share it with you. The trick is simple, all you have to do it to loosen the cap beforehand and have someone off-camera hold the bottle steady. Posting your videos in slow motion will enhance your video even more! Making you seem just like a kung fu master!
Mariah Carey even put her own spin on things by reaching a very high key with her amazingly talented voice to knock the bottle cap off a bottle. The video is truly one of a kind!
With so many amazing videos done online, we noticed that not many Singaporeans have tried the trick for themselves. So we decided to hit the streets to find out if Singaporeans are able to do the bottle cap challenge.
