Holey Moley

Playing a game of mini golf is a perfect way to get to know each other. Games bring out your competitive side and it shows any little quirks you or your partner might have. Holey Moley hosts an epic mini golf course turns a traditional game of putt putt into a multi-sensory labyrinth of unique holes! It’s sure to be the craziest round of golf you’ve ever played! On top of that holy moly also serves up great drinks, cocktails and sick tunes at its bar counter. It’s definitely a great way to know more about your partner while having fun at the same time.

Comedy Night

Food, drinks and jokes it can’t get any better! First dates are meant for you to get to know someone better and comedy night are a great way to break any awkward moments. It gives you and your date the opportunity to have conversations but at the same time if things get too awkward and both of you don’t feel like talking anymore, then you guys can choose to sit back relax and listen to some comedic jokes.

Time Zone

Everyone has a competitive side and it’s always fun to unleash it. It’s a great way to break any awkwardness or nerves that might come from being on a first date. An arcade has a million games you could choose from. If you aren’t good at one game, then you could always try another one.

Ice Skating

Well, Ice skating for a first date is a pretty controversial idea, some people love it and others not so much. It really depends on how comfortable you and your date are with ice skating. If both of you are not the best at it, it’ll be like both of you are overcoming an obstacle together which would naturally bring you guys closer to each other. If you guys are good at it, well then it’s a great way to skate and have a meaningful conversation on the ice together. Either way it’s a win win situation. But remember to make sure both of you are comfortable on the ice. You wouldn’t want to force your date to go on the ice with you, it’ll be more traumatising than anything else.

Cycling @ Punggol Waterway park

If the both of you can cycle then a cycling date would be a perfect way to get to know each other. There’s actually so much of Singapore that many of us have yet to uncover and cycling allows you to explore and appreciate these small less known areas of Singapore. You could potentially head down to Punggol waterway park and have a cycle around. This quiet, peaceful pathway is perfect for deep meaningful conversations to form. It also houses the nature cove with an amazing view of the waterway. The nature cove provides a perfect place for you and you’re date to take a break and maybe laze around. If you’re worried about things getting too awkward, you could pack a deck of cards, and play a game instead.

All the best on your first date! Don’t worry too much about it! As cheesy as it sounds, be yourself! If things get awkward, just take a deep breath and try to initiate a topic of conversation. Talk about what you like and what you’re passionate about. When you’re passionate about something, you’ll never get tired of talking about it. You got this!
