Watch a local Play

There’s no better feeling than being able to support local talents right here on our shores. Enjoy this national day with your family by catching a play touching on very relatable Singaporean themes. This homegrown production will be sure to play with your emotions leaving you packed with adrenaline! With its characters portraying roles that we all can relate with and with the storyline falling into the same predicaments we often find ourselves in.

Immerse yourself in local culture

Heritage Hurray will be held on the 9 & 10th of august from 10am-5pm to celebrate Singapore’s 54th birthday! It’s the perfect way to immerse yourself into Singapore’s rich and diverse melting pot of cultures!

From the community art market where you get to discover local artists to the Balestier Heritage Trail where you’ll get to embark on a thrilling adventure to uncover the rich history of Balestier and even get to interact with local hawkers and have a taste of their own specialities!

If you want to participate on more hands on activities, that’s great because hurray heritage has a huge array of activities you can participate in! From the Ang Ku Kueh & Kueh Lapis Vinyl Toy Painting Workshop, to sketching iconic landmarks that can be found on our little red dot.

If those don’t interest you! They even have a Kueh Soap Crafting Demonstration where you could learn a thing or two about Singapore’s colourful kueh culture!
